The City Government of Isabela under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia TUrabin-Hataman, held its regular Monday flag-raising ceremony on September 22 at the City Hall grounds, hosted by the City Civil Registry Office (CCRO) under the leadership of OIC City Civil Registrar Nelsa Yahkob.
The ceremony highlighted the observance of the 33rd National Family Week, celebrated every last week of September pursuant to Proclamation No. 60 (s. 1992), with the theme: “Polisiyang Makapamilya Tungo sa Higit na Matatag, Maginhawa, at Panatag na Pamilyang Pilipino.” It also coincided with the nationwide commemoration of “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day”, declared under Proclamation No. 326 (s. 2012) and observed every fourth Monday of September.
To make the celebration more engaging, a brief Q&A game was conducted, where City Administrator Pedrito Eisma and OIC Nelsa Yahkob awarded prizes to the winners.
