𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗛𝗔 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 | Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman joined provincial officials during the Contract Signing and Releasing of Livelihood Assistance under the USAHA Program held at the Basilan Government Center in Lamitan City on June 11.
The activity was spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Basilan led by Governor Mujiv Hataman in partnership with various stakeholders to support livelihood development and economic empowerment among beneficiaries across the province. The program aimed to provide financial assistance and strengthen sustainable livelihood opportunities for participants.
Mayor Turabin-Hataman delivered an inspirational message during the opening program, emphasizing the importance of empowering communities through livelihood initiatives that promote self-reliance, productivity, and inclusive economic growth. Basilan Governor Hataman also delivered a message reaffirming the Provincial Government’s commitment to supporting programs that generate economic opportunities and improve the lives of Basilenos.
Following the ceremonial contract signing and release of funds, participants attended lectures and presentations on project milestones and impacts, business name registration and government compliance, and GCash registration and verification. Representatives from the Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism (MTIT), The Asia Foundation’s Accelerate Bangsamoro Project, and GCash provided valuable information to support beneficiaries in managing and sustaining their livelihood ventures.
