The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, successfully concluded the Ramadan 2026 Inter-Madaris Musabaqah on March 23 at the Multipurpose Hall, Fuego-Fuego Beach. Organized by the City Local Madrasah Development Office in partnership with the City Information Office, the event featured participants from madaris across the city, showcasing their dedication to Islamic education and community spirit.
Mayor Turabin-Hataman expressed her joy in witnessing young learners engage in meaningful competitions that nurture Islamic values and camaraderie. She extended her gratitude to the teachers, students, and parents for their unwavering support and commitment to strengthening Islamic education in Isabela City.
During the awarding ceremony, plaques and cash incentives were presented to the Asatidz who served as Virtual Lecturers during the Daily Virtual Naseehat, as well as to the contestants and coaches of this year’s Musabaqah. Winners were recognized for their outstanding performances in the Adhan Competition Levels 1 and 2, the Hifzul Qur’an Competition Levels 1 through 5, and the Naseehat Competition Levels 1 and 2. In addition, top performers of the 5 Pillars of Islam Quiz Show – LGU Employees Edition were also honored for their exemplary participation.
Since its inception, the Musabaqah has become an annual tradition under Mayor Turabin-Hataman’s leadership, reflecting her unwavering commitment to nurturing Islamic education, supporting madaris, and fostering a culture of learning and excellence among the youth of Isabela City.
