BPLO Chief Albert Porticos met with Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman on November 3, at the Isabela City Hall to discuss measures aimed at strengthening public service delivery, improving regulatory systems, and boosting local economic activities.
The discussion covered key matters such as the NABPLO Award deliberation, enhancement of the MTOP Tracking System, and the formulation of an action plan for the implementation of the MTOP Regulatory Ordinance of Isabela City. They also addressed operational concerns involving the city’s Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Associations (TODAs) and the proposed tricycle ordinance, which seeks to ensure efficient and sustainable transport regulation.
The meeting further tackled proposed initiatives to institutionalize the Isabela Business Permits and Licensing System (IBPLS) and promote the adoption of cashless transactions, consistent with the city government’s thrust toward efficient governance, innovation, and inclusive growth.
