𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | A new wave of tourism development is on the horizon for Isabela City as the Department of Tourism (DOT), Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), and the Local Government Unit of Isabela City officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Lampinigan SANDS (Sustainable and Natural Destination of the South): The Jetty Port and Leisure Development Project, held on October 29 at Fuego Fuego Beachfront, Barangay Tabiawan.
The landmark partnership aims to transform Lampinigan Island into a sustainable, community-centered destination — showcasing the island’s pristine beauty while promoting inclusive growth and responsible tourism in Basilan.
Leading the signing ceremony were DOT Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, TIEZA OIC–Assistant Chief Operating Officer Rodolfo Ancheta, and Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, witnessed by Governor Mujiv Hataman, Lone District Representative Yusop Alano (represented by Atty.
