The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman along with Governor Mujiv Hataman led the budget hearing on September 29. Also present were BM Ahmed Ibn Djaliv Hataman.
The activity served as a venue for thorough review and discussion of the proposed allocations for fiscal year 2026, ensuring that resources are efficiently distributed to priority programs and services that directly benefit the people of Isabela City.
Participating offices included the City Accounting Office, City Administrator’s Office, City Treasury Office, City Assessor’s Office, City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), City Budget Office (CBO), City Health Office (CHO), City Agriculture Office, City General Services Office (CGSO), City Information Office (CIO), City Civil Registry (CCR), City Veterinary Office (VET), Public Employment Services Office (PESO), City Population Management and Development Office (CPMDO), City Engineer’s Office (CEO), City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) and City Tourism Office (CTO).
Mayor Turabin-Hataman underscored the importance of transparency and accountability in the budgeting process, noting that each peso allocated must translate to programs that are responsive to the needs of communities. She emphasized the city’s continuing commitment to inclusive development and fiscal responsibility.
