In a show of strengthened inter-agency coordination, Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman welcomed newly designated officers from the Philippine National Police-Isabela City Police Station, Coast Guard Station–Isabela City, and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)-Basilan during a series of courtesy calls held at the City Hall.
Among the visiting officials was Police Major Kuhutan Hora Imlani Jr., newly appointed Officer-in-Charge of the Isabela City Police Station, who expressed his full commitment to peacekeeping, public safety, and deepening the partnership between the PNP and the City Government. Mayor Turabin-Hataman assured continued support to local law enforcement and emphasized the importance of proactive and community-based policing.
Also paying a courtesy call were representatives of the Philippine Coast Guard, led by LTJG Al-Ajim Hadjili, accompanied by CPO Nur-Ina Basirul. The meeting focused on shared goals in maritime security, environmental protection, and disaster response across Isabela’s coastal and island communities.
Completing the line-up of new local security leaders was JSINSP Arnan Matangal, newly designated City Jail Warden of the Isabela City Jail under the BJMP.
