Fresh from its observance of the Month of the Ocean and in a continued effort to strengthen local governance and inter-agency collaboration, the City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, hosted a Stakeholder Meeting on June 2 at the SP Session Hall, bringing together key representatives from various sectors to discuss pressing coastal and fisheries-related issues.
City Administrator Pedrito Eisma underscored the importance of multi-sectoral coordination in supporting local fisherfolk and sustaining marine resources.
Meanwhile, leaders from the fisherfolk community actively participated in the open forum, sharing valuable insights and concerns. The meeting served as a platform for identifying local challenges, strengthening agency coordination, and crafting responsive strategies for sustainable coastal management and fisherfolk development.

Gina Alberto, BFAR IX OIC-City Fishery Officer Robert Aporado, PNP-Maritime Isabela City Station Commander PSMS Abdulhalik Jingkatal, ICPC President Ronald Paulino, Punong Barangay Nihma Deman of Diki, Hj.
