The City Government of Isabela, led by Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, officially turned over the newly renovated Carbon Wharf in Barangay Carbon earlier today, April 15, marking the completion of another vital infrastructure project aimed at improving local transport and connectivity. Also present were Councilor Ar-Jhemar Ajibon, City Administrator Pedrito Eisma and Carbon Punong Barangay Jaitun Danial, Seaside Punong Barangay Fitzgerald Tan, and Menzi Kagawad Marilyn Aguinid.
With a total project cost of P4,484,800.93, the renovated wharf is expected to enhance safety, efficiency, and convenience for commuters, travelers, and local traders who rely on the port as a key access point to and from the city.
This project is part of the city’s initiative, reflecting the local government’s commitment to delivering meaningful development to every barangay and uplifting the lives of all Isabeleños through responsive and inclusive governance. (Words by SJ Asakil/Photos by M. Santos, CIO)
