TRAINING SEEKS STRONGER ADOLESCENT REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH PROGRAMS IN ISABELA CITY

The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, culminated the two-day Orientation-Workshop, March 13. The activity aimed to establish an Information and Service Delivery Network for Adolescent Health and Development. Spearheaded by the City Population Management and Development Office in collaboration with The Challenge Initiative and the Zuellig Family Foundation, the initiative focused on strengthening adolescent reproductive health programs and optimizing the operations of Teen Centers within communities.
The workshop underscored the need for accessible reproductive health services, the integration of social support networks, and a youth-centered approach to healthcare. Participants explored referral systems, health education strategies, and mental wellness programs to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for young individuals.
The event brought together representatives from various offices and organizations, including the City Social Welfare and Development Office, City Planning and Development Office, City Health Office, DepEd SDO- Isabela City, Local Youth Development Office, Local Economic and Development and Investment Promotions Office, Public Employment Service Office, Sangguniang Kabataan, and IDP-Solidaridad.
