In celebration of National Women’s Month and International Women’s Day, the City Information Office (CIO), led by CIO and concurrent Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Person Mendry-Ann Lim, spearheaded the regular Monday flag-raising ceremony on March 10.
Held at the Isabela City Hall grounds, the event featured a fun and interactive trivia segment to make the celebration more engaging. City Administrator Pedrito Eisma also assisted in the activity, as participants eagerly took on the challenge of identifying songs, adding excitement to the occasion. Five lucky winners were rewarded with 5-kilo sacks of rice, while 10 women also received the same amount of rice along with IsaTV umbrellas as part of the city’s initiative to recognize and appreciate their contributions.
