In solidarity with the observance of the holy month of Ramadan, the City Government of Isabela under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman offers free iftar (bukah) at the City Hall Lobby starting today, March 6, courtesy of the Office of the City Mayor. This is open to all Muslim LGU employees and non-employees from outside.
As a powerful act of charity and kindness during this Ramadan, the City Government also welcomes food donations from private individuals/groups for Iftar.
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “Whoever gives food (iftar) for a fasting person to break his fast, will receive the same reward as that fasting person, without decreasing his own reward in the slightest.”
Allahumma taqabbal siyaamana. Ameen.
