PANGALAWANG BATCH NG MGA BIOs, NAGSANAY SA BASIC CANVA APPLICATION

Upang higit pang mapalakas ang kakayahan ng mga Barangay Information Officers sa lungsod, isinagawa ang “Basic Training on Canva Application for Pubmats Production” noong ika-26 hanggang ika-27 ng Pebrero, sa ilalim ng Continuous Learning Approach and Skills Support (CLASS). Ang pagsasanay na ito ay pinangunahan ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Isabela sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Punong Lungsod Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, sa pamamagitan ng Tanggapan ng Pampublikong Impormasyon (CIO), katuwang ang Department of Information, Communications and Technology (DICT) – Basilan sa pamumuno ni Director Michael Jolo.
Matapos ang unang araw ng pagsasanay, kung saan 22 Barangay Information Officers ang lumahok, isinagawa naman ang ikalawang batch sa sumunod na araw na dinaluhan ng 17 BIOs. Sa pagsasanay na ito, ibinahagi ni Information Officer Marion Guerrero sa mga kalahok ang mga pangunahing prinsipyo ng disenyo, kabilang ang tamang paggamit ng kulay at font, pati na rin ang paggawa ng epektibong pubmats. Binigyang-diin din ang kahalagahan ng visual communication upang matiyak na malinaw at maayos na naipararating ang mahahalagang impormasyon sa publiko.
Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin ni City Information Officer Mendry-Ann Lim na ang pagsasanay na ito ay isang mahalagang hakbang upang matulungan ang mga BIOs na maging mas bihasa sa paggamit ng digital tools tulad ng Canva, na makatutulong sa pagpapabuti ng kanilang paraan ng pakikipagkomunikasyon sa kanilang barangay.
Sa pangkalahatan, layunin ng CLASS na palakasin ang Barangay Information Officers Network sa pagpapalaganap ng dekalidad at makatotohanang impormasyon para sa mas epektibong pamamahala at pagpapaunlad ng kanilang mga barangay. (Sulat ni E. Banding-Hadjala/Kuha ni K. Galano, IsaTV)
