LGU-ISABELA CITY OPENS NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH 2025 CELEBRATION WITH FLAG-RAISING CEREMONY

The regular Monday flag-raising ceremony, hosted by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) under the leadership of Nor-Aina Asmara, was held on March 3 at the Isabela City Hall grounds. This event marked the official opening of the National Women’s Month celebration with the sub-theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas”, highlighting the city’s commitment to gender equality, women empowerment, and inclusive governance.
In observance of the Revised Dress Code, as stated in the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 16, s. 2024, government officials and employees proudly wore ASEAN-inspired attire. These outfits were influenced by the traditional garments of ASEAN member states, including the Philippines, symbolizing unity, cultural appreciation, and regional solidarity.
Adding to the significance of the ceremony, a special segment on Ramadhan Awareness was conducted, underscoring the importance of the holy month for the Muslim community. (With Photos by M. Santos, CIO)
