The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, officially turned over on February 19, the newly constructed 400-meter perimeter fence at the Isabela City Forest Park in Barangay Maligue. Funded under the city’s 20% Development Fund with a total project cost of P2,949,867.11, the project aims to enhance the security and preservation of the park, which is home to a wide array of endemic flora and fauna, ensuring its sustainability and accessibility for the community.
The turnover ceremony was witnessed by the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Maligue, led by Punong Barangay Nurol Atong, alongside City Councilors Ar-Jhemar Ajibon, Bimbo Epping, Jeromy Casas, Yusop Abubakar, Karel Annjaiza Sakkalahul, Menzi Kagawad Marilyn Aguinid, Alexes Ututalum from BUP and Lukbuton Punong Barangay Jashim Tiplani.
