ISABELA CITY RETAINS ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION

The City Government of Isabela, under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, has once again proven its steadfast dedication to quality public service by successfully passing the 2nd Surveillance ISO 9001:2015 Audit.

Audit Team Leader Brenda Magpantay commended the city for its effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) since 2023, while also providing insights into opportunities for improvement to enhance its operations further.

The audit highlighted several notable initiatives, including the Sakayan Kaalaman Program, which aims to improve literacy, and the Info Revolution – GoGo Isabela campaign, promoting transparency and citizen engagement. These efforts were further bolstered by the principles of Makialam, Makilahok, and Makibahagi under the Freedom of Information (FOI) framework, fostering active community participation. Additionally, the city received recognition for its nationally acclaimed youth empowerment programs, advancements in digital transformation, and initiatives promoting entrepreneurship and inclusive livelihood opportunities. The City Tourism Office, Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) also stood out for their contributions, reflecting the administration’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and holistic community development.
