As the Isabela City Museum nears completion, collector Marvin Sicat and his wife, Daisy, donated on February 03 an exceptional set of traditional brassware, wooden containers, indigenous weaponry, among others for display in the under-construction museum. This was witnessed by curator Marian Pastor Roces.
Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, along with City Tourism Officer Claudio Ramos II, personally received the donation, highlighting the city’s commitment to preserving its rich cultural heritage.
These artifacts will soon be displayed in the museum, which is being established to showcase and safeguard Isabela City’s tangible traditions and artistic evocations With this initiative, the museum is set to become a center for learning and appreciation, ensuring that the city’s cultural legacy endures for generations to come.
