ISABELA CITY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE OUTLINES 2025 GOALS IN Q1 MEETING

The City Government of Isabela under youth champion Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, through its Local Youth Development Office led LYDO Levinia Jarejolne, hosted the ICYDA 2025 First Quarter Meeting on January 22 at the Isabela City Youth Center. Presided by ICYDA Co-Chairperson and concurrent LEDIPO Chief Jaime Juanito Rivera, the meeting served as a vital platform for planning youth development programs and initiatives for the year ahead.

With a focus on strengthening initiatives that benefit the youth, particularly out-of-school individuals, the meeting covered key agenda items, including the planning of ICYDA programs and activities for 2025, alongside the budget for the year. It also included a discussion on the Youth Code to ensure its alignment with current needs, a review and refinement of the organizational structure for more effective project implementation, and the presentation of an accomplishment report for 2024 to reflect on past successes and challenges.

Present during the meeting were key figures, including PESO Manager Aradelria Belleng, CIO/GAD Focal Mendry-Ann Lim, CPDMO/CNAO Jesielyn Puno, LYDO Levinia Jarejolne, SK Federation President Naila Belleng, NFI Executive Director Miriam Suacito, ALS Focal Elma Uckung, DICT-Basilan ITO Michael Jolo, PIA Infocenter Manager Nilda Delos Reyes, and MDO Moh. Ashraf Abubakar. The discussions aimed at furthering youth development and enhancing the impact of programs across Isabela City. (Words by SJ Asakil/Photos by M. Santos, CIO)
